Perception is what you hear, see, taste, or smell. It’s a first impression. Can we be led wrong by perception? Is it possible for perception to be controlled, is it possible that your perception can be influenced, or do you allow perception to cloud your judgement? What we see with the eye is not what is always there. What we hear with our ears isn’t always clear.
What we feel in our hearts sometimes disappears. So what is perception? Can we agree that it’s what we want it to be, or do we hide behind the word perception because we are not sure of what we analyze? It easy to discard something that has no meaning or you don’t feel attached to, but what do you do when the person you perceived seems to be someone else.
Do we blame perception or first impression? People have a way of engaging in pretense behavior, we must admit some are great actors but what do we do when we know the truth? Do we act or interrogate the truth? Most feelings are made by perception. What you perceive someone or something to be and the tricky thing about perception is that each person will have their own percept.
How do we know which one is true? After all my words have made you think, and I can guarantee what you have perceived is what we call the first impression. Can someone perception of you change?
The answer is yes because most decisions are made on something deeper than perception. When a person acts differently, our first assumption is that they have changed. We never once think that they are just adapting to the
situation differently. You see, this brings me back to my point perception. What is perception, is it what we see or what we want to see??
